Scrabble Club
If you love words, games, and having fun, this club is for you! Our adult Scrabble Club meets from 6-8 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Beginners and experts alike are encouraged to join and the club is free and open to the public. Make new friends and learn new Scrabble strategies. Scrabble boards, scoring materials, and dictionaries will be provided.
Preschool Storytime
Preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, and their accompanying adults are invited to attend Preschool Storytime at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m..
Reading Buddies Returns!
Be a Reading Buddy at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Younger readers (kindergarten to third grades) will be paired with older reading buddies (fourth to eighth grades) to practice reading and develop a love for reading. Reading Buddies meets at the library from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning September 11, 2012.
Toddler Storytime
Toddlers and their accompanying adults are invited to attend story time at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Preschool Storytime

Computers for Beginners, Level 2
Come to the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Sunday, July 1st from 2:00 to 3:30 pm when Go2Workshops@YourLibrary offers a Computers for Beginners, Level 2 workshop! This class will review the basic computer tasks in a Windows environment and will review the differences between a document and a program. Learn to create documents, save them in the right place (hard drive or USB), and perform proper shutdown procedures. completion of "Computers for Beginners Level 1" or basic computer, mouse, and keyboard skills are required to attend this workshop.
Computers for Beginners, Level 3
Come to the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Sunday, July 22nd from 2:00 to 3:30 pm when Go2Workshops@YourLibrary offers a Computers for Beginners, Level 3 workshop! Learn how to organize files into folders, find "lost" files, and print documents. You will also learn how to change you desktop settings, create a shortcut, and more. Completion of "Computers for Beginners Level 1" and "Computers for Beginners Level 2, " or intermediate computer, mouse, and keyboard skills are required to attend this workshop.
An Evening with the Legendary Doc Holliday
The Friends of the Glenwood Springs Branch Library and the Frontier Historical Society present an evening with Dr. John Henry Holliday on Thursday, August 16th at 7:00 pm. Portrayalist R. W. Boyle will bring the good doctor to life. The program will take place in the basement meeting room of the Glenwood Springs Branch Library at 413 Ninth Street and is free an open to the public.
