Preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, and their accompanying adults are invited to join us at the Glenwood Springs Library for a special Halloween story time on Wednesday October 31 at 10:30 a.m. We will go trick or treating in the library and then around the block, including the fire station. Costumes are welcome, but not required. 

 Find a great read at a bargain price at the upcoming used book sale, sponsored by the Friends of the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. The sale will be held from Saturday October 6th through Saturday October 13th. Don’t miss the special preview for Friends members on Friday October 5th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Friends memberships are available at the door.

Toddlers and their accompanying adults are invited to attend story time at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. For more information call the library at 970-945-5958.

Teens (ages 13 to 17) are invited to be part of the library Teen Advisory Group. Share your thoughts about activities and resources you would like to see at the library. Beginning October 9th, TAG will meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library.  Light snacks will be served.

Beginning on September 13th, Tweens (ages 9 to 12) are invited to read and talk about good books at the library. The Tween Book Club will meet after school at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on the second Thursday of each month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Light snacks will be served. 

Be a Reading Buddy at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Younger readers (kindergarten to third grades) are paired with older reading buddies (fourth to eighth grades) to practice reading and develop a love for reading. Reading Buddies meets at the library from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.
