 All Garfield County Libraries will be closed on Friday, April 12th, for a staff training day. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13th, at all branches.

 All Garfield County Libraries will be closed on Sunday, March 31st, in observance of Easter. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1st, at all branches.

 All Garfield County Libraries will be closed onTuesday, January 1st, in observance of New Year's Day. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2nd, at all branches.

All Garfield County Library locations will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd and Friday, November 23rd for the Thanksgiving holiday.

 Garfield County Libraries is hosting the Big Read featuring John Steinbeck’s “The Grapes of Wrath” in February 2013. The Big Read, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, is designed to promote reading and discussion of great books. Garfield County Libraries’ Big Read title coincides with the release of Ken Burn’s new documentary entitled, “The Dust Bowl,” set to air on PBS in November.  Summer Reading Begins for all Garfield County Libraries!

All Garfield County Libraries will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, December 24-25, in observance of Christmas. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, at all branches.

The Rifle and Glenwood Springs Branch Libraries will close at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, so our employees may gather for a holiday reception. Other branches are closed on Sundays and will not be affected. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10, at all branches.

All branch libraries will close at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21.
