All school aged children are invited to meet at the New Castle Branch Library at 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 7th to explore different arts and crafts. All supplies will be provided, as well as after school snacks.
"What are you reading? Book Club" is a book discussion group for elementary school aged children, from 3rd through 5th grades. Meet at the New Castle Branch Library Tuesday, February 5 and the first Tuesday of every month at 4:30 pm to share your favorite books and authors. After school snacks will be served!
Special Movie Day storytime for preschoolers Tuesday, March 5 and Thursday March 7 at 10:30 am at the New Castle Branch Library. Milk and cookies will be served!

Learn the science and skills needed for homebrewing beer at the Silt Branch Library on Saturday January 26th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This Big Read event will be taught by a local award-winning homebrewer and president of the High Altitude Mashers homebrewing club. The demonstration will cover the creation of a popular beer style from start to finish and sampling of a pre-made homebrew. All participants must be at least 21 years of age. The class is limited to 30 individuals. To register contact the Silt Branch Library at 876-5500.
Join this new book club where we will explore fabulous stories in the light of day. Please come prepared with ideas for future titles and plan on having a good time sharing your passion for good books. Book club meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 10:30 am. Bring WHATEVER book/manga/graphic novel/etc. you are currently reading and share with the group your thoughts, opinions, revelations,... anything you want to share! Snacks and refreshments provided with varying book club activities the second Tuesday of each month from 4:30 - 5:30 at the Rifle Branch Library.

Fill your shell-y and your bell-y with gummy worms & bears, heart candies, sprinkles, sauce, chili powder & more!
