Making Sense of Shiloh-- Book Discussion

Best Books for Tweens
Need something great to read? Come to the Parachute Branch Library on Monday, October 15th from 3:00 to 4:00 pm where Miss Michelle will grab your attention and fill your must read list with the latest books for tweens. Books discussed will be most appropriate for tweens in grades 5-8.
Celebrate Teen Read Week: Get Caught Reading
Celebrate Teen Read Week by getting "caught" reading. From Monday October 15th through Saturday October 20th if one of our library supporters sees you reading, you will be given a Get Caught Reading coupon. Visit the Parachute Branch Library and redeem your coupon before 10/31/12. Pizza, cool cash, books, sandwiches are just a few of the rewards for reading. You never know where we will be...grab a book and get caught reading!
Date a Book - Rate a Book
We invite you to spend a few minutes dating and rating some of the latest teen reads in our library. Stop by the front desk of the Parachute Branch Library between October 15th and 19th, pick up the "dating/rating" cards and you are off on your grand adventure. Dating/rating does have its rewards, stop in and find your perfect mate!

Halloween Costume SWAP
Have your kids outgrown last years costumes? Need a creative and inexpensive way to build your costume? Join us at the Parachute Branch Library on Saturday, October 6th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon for the first annual Costume Swap. Drop off costumes all week beginning Tuesday October 2nd and you will be given a SWAP ticket. Tickets can be redeemed Saturday October 6 from 10am to noon.

Manga and graphic novels appear in your dreams? Love to read backwards? Join with others suffering the same symptoms at the Anime Club! The club will meet on Monday, October, 29th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Parachute Branch Library.
