Parachute Branch Library's May Counting Contest is getting us ready to "Dig Into Reading" in June by counting stones! The winner will receive the chance to "dig in" with a lunch at a local restaurant of their choice.

Batik is both an art and a craft involving decorating cloth with wax and dye.
Attendees must register and a supply list will be given to you then. Students will make an 8x10 sample to take home.

We’ll have tables, irons, ironing boards, and cutting mats all set up for your convenience. Drop in and bring your project for a day of crafting, food and friends. Come to the Gordon Cooper Branch Library on the second Tuesday of every month from 4:00 to 5:00 pm for PAWS to READ! Children in grades K-5 can sign up to read to the dogs for approximately 15 minutes. Featuring dogs and handlers/literacy specialists from Heeling Partners of the Roaring Fork Valley.
