Daytime Book Club
Join this new book club where we will explore fabulous stories in the light of day. Please come prepared with ideas for future titles, and plan on having a good time sharing your passion for good books. Light refreshments will be served.
Decorate Christmas Cookies
We will have Christmas Cookies for the kids to decorate. The library will provide the cookies and all decoration materials.
Teen Advisory Group
If you are in grades 6-12, you are invited to join the New Castle Branch Library’s Teen Advisory Group, which meets the third Monday of every month at 5 p.m. Tell us what you want to see at your local library. This is your opportunity to help plan programs and tell us what books, movies and music you would like us to purchase for the library. After the meeting stick around for snacks and games! Children in 3rd and 4th grades are invited to the Silt Branch Library on Friday, November 30 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. to have testing different objects to see if they sink or float with Ms. Lauren Zabawa! Join us for experiments galore where we will be making hypothesis, testing different variables, recording our results, and having fun. Supplies and snacks will be provided.
