Popcorn and a Movie
The Silt Branch Library will have a novie for kids grades one through four at 1:00 pm on March 9. The movie will be Ratatouille; popcorn, drinks, and snacks will be provided.
Wii Games
Come play Wii games at the Silt Branch Library at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16. Popcorn, soda and snacks will be served.

Monday (for kids)- Easter craft, supplies limited
Tuesday (for teens)- Sorry! This is gonna Be a lot of Twisted Trouble Human Board Game. If you need an explanation, it is this: F-U-N!
Wednesday - Movie Day 1:00 pm Wreck It Ralph (for kids) and 7:00 pm Men in Black 3 (for teens) - Pizza will be served!
Whatever' Book Club
For those that want to be part of a book club but don't want to be told what to read, this is the book club for you. Bring WHATEVER book/manga/graphic novel/etc. you are currently reading and share with the group your thoughts, opinions, revelations... anything you want to share! Snacks and refreshments provided with varying book club activities the second Tuesday of each month from 4:30 - 5:30 at the Rifle Branch Library.
Paws to Read
Come to the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on the fourth Thursday of every month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. for Paws to Read! Children in kindergarten through grade 5 can sign up ahead of time to read to a dog. The program is free and will feature dogs and handlers from Heeling Partners of the Roaring Fork Valley. A parent must sign a permission form in advance.
Otto Mears: Pathfinder of the San Juans
The Winter Lecture Series continues at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library with a Chautauqua-style program on Thursday March 21, 2013 at 7 pm. Otto Mears (1840-1931) was a famous Colorado railroad builder and entrepreneur who played a major role in the early development of southwestern Colorado. Mears was known as the "Pathfinder of the San Juans" because of his road and railroad building projects through Colorado's San Juan Mountains in the late 19th Century.

Tween Book Club
Tweens (ages 9 to 12) are invited to read and talk about good books at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Each member selects their own book to discuss. Tweens will be writing anonymous reviews for a library ʺmagazineʺ and blog, as well as creating bookmarks about their books (to be displayed in the library). The Tween Book Club meets after school from 4 to 5 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Light snacks are served.
