Bi-Lingual Preschool Storytime/ Cuentos Bilingues
Preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, and their accompanying adults are invited to attend storytime at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Wednesdays at 10:30 am.

Scrabble Club
If you love words, games, and having fun, this club is for you! Our adult Scrabble Club meets from 5:30-8:00 pm on the first Tuesday of every month at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Beginners and experts alike are encouraged to join our club, which is free and open to the public. Make new friends and learn new Scrabble strategies. Scrabble boards, scoring materials, and dictionaries are provided.
Storytime
Join us for Parachute Summer Storytime where fun stories, silly dances, new words, activities and more become the highlight of your day! For children of all ages. Summer Storytimes are held on Mondays at 11:00 am at the Parachute Branch Library.
Build Our Wall of "Groundbreaking Reads"
This year’s theme for the Garfield County Libraries Adult Summer Reading program is “Groundbreaking Reads”. In conjunction with this theme, we would like to know which books our readers have found to be “groundbreaking." It could be a book that has personally impacted you, an important work of literary achievement, or a book you believe everyone should read. We'll leave the definition up to you!
Groundbreaking Technology: The Digital Parent-Palooza

Join us at the Silt Branch Library on Thursday, July 18 at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room to learn about the latest and greatest apps, website resources, and technology to help you engage your child in digital learning and FUN!
Groundbreaking Technology: eReader How-to Petting Zoo
Dig out that groundbreaking eDevice from your closet, and bring it down to the library so you can dig-in to new tips and tricks to take your device to the next level. On Wednesday, July 17 at 6:00 pm at the Rifle Branch Library our District Technology Trainer will give a presentation on eDevices, and will be available to answer on-the-spot tech questions about your device or any of the devices on display.
