5th Element 3-4 Class @ Silt
Children in grades 3 and 4 are invited to the Silt Branch Library on April 26th from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Students will discover 3-D, identify 3-D shapes in everyday life, and create 3-D shapes with Mrs. Melissa Matis. Children in kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to the Rifle Branch Library on Friday, April 5 from 12 to 2 p.m. Learn new math games to play at home with your family with Ms. Lauren Zabawa. We will have great math centers that will include activities such as: symmetry painting, and card games. Supplies and snacks will be provided. Create Your Own Photo Album
In this class you will create your own photo album. Learn the basics of bookbinding, including: creating covers, an easy binding, and how to do more advanced bindings on your own. All materials are provided and you will go home with your own photo album!
Material cost of $15.00. Class is limited to 12.

Come and Meet the Author
Come and meet local author Tom Elder at the New Castle Branch Library on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 6:30 pm. Elder will be talking about his new book It's All About the Timing, a story of mature love, real estate greed, and the search for buried silver treasure in Aspen, Colorado.
Scrabble Club
If you love words, games and having fun, this club is for you! Our adult Scrabble Club meets from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on the second Wednesday of every month at the New Castle Branch Library.
Beginners and experts alike are encouraged to join our club, which is free and open to the public. Make new friends and learn new Scrabble strategies. Scrabble boards, scoring materials and dictionaries are provided.
Daytime Book Club
Join this new book club where we will explore fabulous stories in the light of day. Please come prepar ed with ideas for future titles, and plan on having a good time sharing your passion for good books. Light refreshments will be served.
Daytime Book Club takes place at the New Castle Branch Library at 10:30 am on the second Wednesday of the month.

Preschool Storytime
Enjoy books, songs and more at weekly storytime for children age 2-5 at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library on Tuesdays at 10:30. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Teen Zone
Come to Teen Zone in the Gordon Cooper Library Community Room on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm. Study, surf the net, read, write, draw, hang out. Bring a laptop or borrow one of ours.
