“Genealogy Resources” is a free introductory program which will be offered at the New Castle Branch Library on Saturday, November 9 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. The program will be presented by genealogy consultant Diane Hitchcock-Owens. Join this dynamic researcher to learn about how to start researching your family history as she will show you some great tools including free resources available through the library district's webpage.

Come to the Carbondale Branch Library on the second Tuesday of every month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. for Paws to Read as part of the Tuesdays @ the Library series! Children in grades K-5 can sign up to read to the dogs for approximately 15 minutes. Featuring dogs and handlers/literacy specialists from Heeling Partners of the Roaring Fork Valley.
The Carbondale Branch Library invites you to improve your art skills or learn something new as we work on a project in the Teen Artist Workshop on Thursday, October 3 at 4:00 pm. This workshop features different projects and artists every month, which will be held on the first Thursday of every month. This month, join Youth Services Librarian Jeannine to make beautiful or edgy jewelry out of hardware like nuts, bolts, and washers as part of the Middle School Madness series.
Enjoy age appropriate books, songs and more at weekly storytimes for infants and toddlers. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Storytime for Toddlers and Infants is held on Thursdays at 10:30 am at the Carbondale Branch Library. There will be no storytime on November 28 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
