Garfield County Libraries is hosting the Big Read featuring John Steinbeck’s “The Grapes of Wrath” in February 2013. The Big Read, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, is designed to promote reading and discussion of great books. Garfield County Libraries’ Big Read title coincides with the release of Ken Burn’s new documentary entitled, “The Dust Bowl,” set to air on PBS in November. Beginning October 9th, TAG will meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Light snacks will be served.
