Students examine the Colorado River system and demonstrate changes in river flow that occur as the river travels from source to sea through interactive, hands-on mapping activities. Students will gain an increased awareness of water users on the Colorado River, including those outside their local area, by identifying the source, tributaries, and mouth of the river. They will also recognize the difficulty of balancing needs of all water users.

School's out for summer! Celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of SR 2.0 - the teen/tween Summer Reading program - with a BYO-picnic and dance. Come join us - and our DJ spinning tunes - in the park at the corner of 4th Street and Main Street.
What's a BYO-picnic? Bring Your Own! Bring your lunch to enjoy in the park or take advantage of a great special from our friends at Peppino's Pizza, being offered only to our picnic participants: Peppino's will give you a free drink when you buy a slice!
