The Parachute Branch Library is hosting a Tween/Teen Tech Petting Zoo on Tuesday, June 14th at 3pm. This is your chance to play with electronic gadgets, and ask questions: how does this work? what can I do with it? This summer, one teen will win a Nook, so come check out the latest eReaders and audiobook technology.

The Rifle Branch Library will be hosting a movie matinee on Tuesday, November 22, at 1 p.m. featuring the movie “Pocahontas.” Join your friends at the library for popcorn and a movie during your Fall Break from school. We hope to see you there.

All teens and tweens in middle school and up are invited to drop in for fun, friends, and food as we host open play gaming on our Wii console each week. Every Wednesday at the Rifle Branch Library, after school from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

As part of Teen Tech Week, libraries up and down the valley will be competing against each other for bragging rights in a battle for Mario Kart supremacy! The Glenwood Springs, Gordon Cooper, and Rifle Branch Libraries are all looking for teens 12 and older to help in their efforts for domination. The battle will be held on Wednesday, March 9th from 4 to 6 p.m., and also includes the libraries in Aspen and Basalt. Contact your local branch library to register or for more information.
