Candy Sushi

Learn how sushi is made using a variety of candies! Come to the Carbodnale Branch Library on Thursday, June 30 from 4-5pm, and create edible works of art. If raw fish is your thing, you can go home and show your friends and family how to make real sushi! 

The Amazing Race

Come to the Carbondale Branch Library on Thursday, June 23th from 4-5pm to compete in The Amazing Race! You compete in teams on challenges from around the world in a race to the finish! The object of this game is to use your library skills to find the materials you need to collect to survive. You will be rewarded with fish for your accomplishments. Fish earned throughout the game may be used to buy prizes at the fish auction at the end of the game.

 

Bugs, Bon Appetit!

Challenge your taste buds to an afternoon of bug sampling! Grasshopper? Cockroach? Yummmmm! This is for real! Come to the Gordon Cooper Branch Library on Thursday, June 16th from 4-5pm to take advantage of this fun opportunity to sample bugs. Bring your friends: there is plenty to go around.

International Potluck

The New Castle Branch Library is hosting an international potluck on Monday, July 25th at 2pm. Bring a snack or dish from another country -- tacos, pizza, egg rolls, or whatever ethnic food you love! (No bugs will be served!)

Animal Tendou

The teen club continues with this summer edition at the Parachute Branch Library on Wednesday, July 20th from 2-4pm. A movie will be shown, and authentic Japanese snacks will be served!

Drawing Comics & Manga

Come to the Glenwood Springs Library on Tuesday, July 26th at 4pm to learn how to draw manga along with others who enjoy drawing this Japanese comic book art!
