Come join the Bilingual Book Club at Carbondale Branch Library! We will meet every Wednesday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. We will not meet on Wednesday, October 30 due to Loteria Night. The Carbondale Branch Library is thrilled to host Daniel Stashower on Tuesday, November 12 at 7:00 pm as a part of their “One Book, One Town” festivities. Mr. Stashower will be speaking about his newest book, “The Hour of Peril: The Secret Plot to Murder Lincoln Before the Civil War”. Daniel Stashower is an acclaimed biographer and narrative historian, whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Smithsonian Magazine, AARP: The Magazine, and National Geographic Traveler, as well as other publications.
