First Friday in Carbondale: Celebrating The Grapes of Wrath
Garfield County Libraries is kicking off The Big Read 2013 with John Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath" at First Friday in Carbondale at 5:30 p.m. on February 1st.
Early Closure: New Year's Eve
All Garfield County Libraries will close at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, and remain closed on Wednesday, January 1, in observance of the New Year's holiday. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at all branches.
Closure: Christmas Holiday
All Garfield County Libraries will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24-25, in observance of Christmas. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 26, at all branches.
Closure: Thanksgiving Holiday
All Garfield County Libraries will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 28th and 29th, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdayday, November 30, at all branches.
Closure: Fall Staff Training Day
All Garfield County Libraries will be closed on Monday, October 21st, for a staff training day. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22nd, at all branches.

All Garfield County Libraries will be closed on Thursday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, at all branches.

All Garfield County Libraries will be closed on Friday, April 12th, for a staff training day. Regular hours resume at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13th, at all branches.

Gerhard Rill is a graduate of the Munich School of Orthopedics. He completed his residency in the United States then practiced in Germany for several years before relocating to Colorado.
