The New Castle Branch Library offers a special Toddler Storytime every Thursday at 10:30 for children two years old and younger. It's never too soon to introduce your children to stories and other new friends. Join us!
Writing and Drawing for Fun
Join other aspiring young writers and illustrators on Thursday, January 3rd at the New Castle Branch Library as we explore the secrets of writing and illustrating. Eventually we hope to put together an anthology of short stories by this talented local group.
Bi-Lingual Preschool Storytime/ Cuentos Bilingues
Preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, and their accompanying adults are invited to attend story time at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. For more information call the library at 970-945-5958.
Toddler Time
Come to the Parachute Branch Library on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Finger play, music and great stories along with playtime make the a highlight of the toddlers day.
Wii! No School Game Day

I Just Got this Tech Toy for Christmas, Now What?
Got a new Tech Toy for Christmas and not quite sure what to do with it? Starting on December 26th, you can book a Librarian Tech Specialist to assist you one-on-one with setting up and utilizing your new device. Appointments will be held on December 27th, 29th, and January 3rd in half-hour sessions. Stop by the front desk of the Rifle Branch Library to sign-up. Slots are limited so sign up today!
Popcorn and a Movie
Join us on December 19th at 4:00 p.m. for Christmas movie laughs featuring Will Ferrell in ELF. Popcorn and cupcakes provided.
Breakfast with Santa
Come have breakfast with Santa. A light breakfast will be served. Each child will get to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they would like for Christmas. Santa will read the " Night Before Christmas."
Hanukkah Party - Celebrate the Festival of Lights
Come celebrate Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights! We'll sing Hanukkah songs, light a Menorah, play with Driedels (spinning tops), and eat Latkes (potato pancakes). This year Hanukkah begins the night of December 8, and ends the night of December 15.
Decorate Christmas Cookies
We will have Christmas Cookies for the kids to decorate. The library will provide the cookies and all decoration materials.
