Wii for Father's Day! Bring your Dad, Grandpa, or Uncle to the New Castle Branch Library for an evening challenge with Wii! Challenge him in bowling or baseball or another game. We will provide the treats. Please register in advance by stopping by the library or by calling 984-2346.

His music is said to have the power to transport listeners across time and space on an imaginary jouney to a rustic Irish fishing village, the misty Scottish Highlands, or an anceint English forest. For Mother's Day, take your mother to a tea at the New Castle Branch Library! The tea will begin at 6:00pm in our new community room on Thursday, May 10. Advanced registration is required: please call 984-2346. Join us, and show Mom how much you care.

To celebrate Poetry Month, everyone is invited to submit poetry to display at the Gordon Cooper Library on the "Poetry Wall" during the entire month of April. Local middle school classes will be displaying their poetry. Come in and check out the poetry written by community members of all ages. 

Song lyrics, pocket poems, and random acts of poetry encouraged.

Friends of the Gordon Cooper Branch Library host their annual fall book sale from Friday, April 13, through Monday, April 23, during regular library hours:

Monday & Wednesday: 10 am - 8 pm

Tuesday & Thursday: 10 am - 6 pm

Friday & Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm
-Please note the library will be closed on Friday, April 20 for staff work day.

The branch is closed on Sunday.
