Welcome to the Garfield County Public Library District. This page allows you to register online as a patron of our library.
Garfield County Public Library District borrowing privileges are extended free of charge to residents of Garfield County, to residents of Colorado counties which border Garfield County, and also to Colorado residents who present a valid library card from a Colorado library which participates in the Colorado Library Card Program.
Once we process your application, you will receive a barcode number via email to use to access databases, download audio e-books and music, and use our computers. To obtain additional services and check out materials, you will need to verify your identity and address in person at one of our library branches. Click to see a list of acceptable ID and address verification.
This site does not provide a secure Internet connection. It will be possible for others to view information you send. If you have security concerns, please contact Library Administration at (970) 625-4270 or e-mail email@example.com to request an application be mailed or faxed to you. You may also apply for a card at any of our six branches.
Libraries contain a variety of books, magazines, audio visual materials and other items. Some of these materials may offend individuals and/or families. Not all materials are suitable for all ages.
On the form you will be asked to select a card design. Please choose from the following designs. The designs come with a detachable key tag which may be attached to a key ring for convenience.
